Mini Cameras








Miniature cameras, lens and flashes were created for the tops of these cupcakes. Cupcakes were Boston Creme Cupcakes hence the ooey-gooey chocolate topping!

Three for One!

A birthday cake representing three siblings in one birthday cake. Pool party was the theme!

LA Lakers/Staple Arena



A retirement cake for a gentleman who taught for 41 years!! He favorite team is the LA Lakers so we decided to use that for the theme of the cake. An edible crispy treat basketball sits on top of the Staples Arena with a duplicate of the team's jersey with the honoree's name on the back.



Pea Baby III



Baby in pea pod themed baby shower cake was created with a pink and brown color scheme in mind. Mom-to-be requested the baby in the pea pod so we were more than happy to do that for her. Cake was white chocolate with cookies 'n cream filling.



Madeleine

Graduation cake for a grad heading off to University of Wisconsin. School logos were used to design the cake.

Butler Bulldog

A cake for a graduate headed to Butler University. The Bulldog mascot was chosen for the cake. The body was created out of cake and the head was created out of cereal treats. The entire cake covered with modeling chocolate. So fun!!



Honey Bees

A fun honey bee themed cake for a baby shower. Fun little bees flying around the bee hive add a whimsical feel to this cake. Cake was dark chocolate with raspberry filling.

Mrs. Jonas!

A whimsical cake for a recent high school graduate who is headed to The United
States Military Academy at West Point! We incorporated the Academy's seal on a pink camouflage trunk. We were also asked to add a figure to represent Nick Jonas, a personal favorite of the grad!

Beverly

A beautiful clean look for a recent wedding cake. The florist added Fuchsia colored fresh lilies which adorned the cake on top and bottom of the cake. Three different shapes were chosen for the design -- square, round and diamond.

Gator!



This cake was chosen for a young couple's engagement party to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. The majority of the cake was in it's tail and body. The head was created out of crispy treat cereal and the entire cake was covered with modeling chocolate. Details were painted on with copper luster dust and white luster dust.

Sandcastle

A fun sandcastle cake was created to coordinate with a shower invitation for a baby girl. We sprinkled some "sand" (graham crackers) on the modeling chocolate when rolling it out which in turn created the look of actual sand! Cake was white chocolate with strawberry buttercream filling.

Baby on Books

This cake created to coordinate with a baby shower invitation. The theme was to bring a book as a gift. We duplicated the design with the books being cake and the baby made from crispy treat cereal and modeling chocolate.

Emily

A very personalized graduation cake for a young lady who recently graduated from Elmhurst College. She is a fanatic (as I was told) about iced tea so we were requested to incorporate that into the cake along with being a huge fan of the Chicago Blackhawks.

Lauren

A cake for a recent graduate of Naperville North who is heading south to University of Georgia. We incorporated the same saying that was used for her party invitation for the design of the cake. A little mini "Uga" was added to the cakeboard.

Jaclyn

A recent wedding cake that had swirl impressions on two layers and a clean plain look for the middle. Dark eggplant ribbon was chosen for the accent color along with fresh flowers adorned the cake. Entire cake as highlighted with pearl luster dust.

Heather

Graduation cake for a young lady heading off to University of Illinois. She chose a light blue with orange ribbon for the color scheme. A "mini" Heather in a graduation robe was created for the top.

Willowbrook



This graduation cake and coordinating cupcakes were for a recent graduate of Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL. The graduate is off to University of Iowa so we incorporated both school logos.

Nate's Cake

This cake was created for a little boy named Nate. The request came through a great organization called Icing Smiles. The work they do is outstanding!! The theme of the cake was Disney's Cars Movie. In place of hand sculpted cars figures, we thought it best to place real toy cars on the cake! Cake was French Vanilla with Strawberry Buttercream Filling. A big happy 5th birthday to Nate!!!!

Brianna's Sweet 16

This Sweet 16 birthday cake was for a masquerade themed party. Two stacked pillows with coordinating colors were chosen for this cake. Real feathers were added to create a very festive look. Cake was Kahlua red velvet with vanilla cream cheese filling.

Roses & Teacups



These pretty little roses were created out of modeling chocolate and highlighted with luster dust. The teacups were made from fondant. Cupcakes were vanilla, filled with lemon curd and topped with lemon curd buttercream. They looked so appropriate on the gorgeous chandelier cupcake tower!

Tartan Cupcakes

These tartan plaid themed cupcakes were for a bridal shower with the chosen design to represent the couple having their wedding in Scotland.

Brianna

This wedding cake duplicated the look of the bride and groom's wedding invitation. Red roses and black accents were used to adorn this cake. Two different shades of roses made from fondant and highlighted with various luster dusts. Cake was white chocolate with cookies 'n cream filling.

Lisa

We used a marbling effect for this wedding cake with marine blue and white. We also made a ribbon and edible broach for the middle tier. The bride's colors were marine blue and fuchsia.

Jordan

Another graduation cake for a young lady graduating from St. Joan's and continuing on to Montini. We created a mini Jordan with her red cap and gown, volley ball and soccer ball. Duplicated Montini's logo/mascot name.

Benet Eagle

A graduation/birthday cake for recent grad of Benet Academy. Chocolate was the requested flavor of the day!

Carolyn -- Class of 2011!

This cake is for a Naperville Central High School Graduate -- "Class of 2011!" Her interests are "Theater Central", Yearbook Club, and especially fine arts. We incorporated all of them for her cake which was Kahlua red velvet with vanilla bean cream cheese filling. All elements made from modeling chocolate.

Winner The Pooh

This cake was created for a Winnie-the-Pooh themed baby shower. Pooh's head was made out of crispy treats with body and honey pot made out of cake. Cake was covered with modeling chocolate with fondant bees. Cake was white chocolate with cookies 'n cream filling with a special request from the mom-to-be that the legs be pink champagne cake with raspberry filling. : )

Claire's 1st Birthday



This cake and cupcakes were created for a little girl's first birthday! Sweet Pink was the theme. We duplicated the invitation design with hand cut modeling chocolate and placed it on the top of the cake. The cupcakes had a coordinating pink disk with the number one for their decoration. Cake was butter yellow with strawberry buttercream filling and the cupcakes were vanilla also with strawberry buttercream.

Aubrey



This cake and cupcakes were inspired by the Tiffany blue color. We recreated a gift box and added the matching color on the cupcakes with hand rolled Tiffany blue chocolate pearls. Cake was pink champagne, cupcakes were red velvet and vanilla.

"Happy 150th Anniversary" North Central College

We had the great honor of creating the anniversary cake for North Central College's sesquicentennial celebration! Pictured are Mary Reynolds, Associate Director of Alumni Relations, and Amy Clarke-Sievers, Director of Student Involvement. We took design elements from the Old Main building to duplicate on the cake. The bell tower on the Old Main building is one of the main focal points on the campus which became the top element for the cake. We made Kahlua Red Velvet cake with vanilla bean buttercream to represent the school's color which of course was red! Additional sheets cakes were provided, each with school logos. Congratulations North Central!

"Ted the Wheaten"



This cake was made for a true Wheaten Terrier lover! Ted, the dog, was made from modeling chocolate then highlighted and painted with multiple luster dust colors.

LuLu

This cake was for a special birthday girl who was turning 70. Beautiful lavender and cream were used for this color scheme. Fresh flowers, a lavender ribbon, and Fleur De Le designs were added to complete the look. The top tier cake was vanilla with fresh strawberries, and the bottom tier cake was a layer of chocolate cake, a layer of vanilla cake with vanilla bean buttercream.

College Graduation



This cake was for a graduate from Illinois State University. The cake was a culmination of many elements the graduate has an interest or an affinity for which is playing tennis, playing the viola, and a passion for working with dolphins. Cake as dark chocolate with vanilla bean buttercream and covered with modeling chocolate. All design elements also created out of modeling chocolate.

Lundeen is 40!

This cake was created for a gentleman's 40th birthday celebration. We recreated a Blackhawk's jersey with number "40" to represent his special birthday. Cake was white chocolate with milk chocolate buttercream and mini chocolate chips.

Mini Canoe Cupcakes

We created canoe themed cupcakes for a rehearsal dinner and groom's birthday. The bride explained a very sweet story of how on their first date they went boating so we had to incorporate that element. Mini canoes with paddles were created out of modeling chocolate.


Birthday Boys

Birthday Cake for twin boys celebrating their 1st birthday! Balloons and bright primary and secondary colors were used to decorate their cake.

McDonald's II

This cake was created for two gentlemen who were celebrating the opening of their own McDonald's franchise business. Congratulations!! Cake was Kahlua red velvet with vanilla cream cheese filling. The cake was covered with modeling chocolate as well as all the details.

Noel


A first birthday cake with the very popular monkey for the theme. Additional monkey smash cake was created for the birthday girl to dive into! Cake was butter yellow with strawberry filling.

Party Favors

A recent order for White Chocolate Pistachio Butter Toffee in favor boxes. Great for showers, weddings, birthdays, etc.!

Rachel & Riley

This engagement party cake was created to duplicate the couple's first home. We included the happy couple along with their beloved black lab which was holding the pillow with the couple's wedding rings. Cake was butter yellow cake with vanilla bean buttercream filling and covered with modeling chocolate.

This birthday cake was made to coordinate with the party invitations which had the houndstooth pattern and the main design. We duplicated the pattern using a stencil and royal icing. The crown was also created to match the party favors. Electric green and touch of gold were the accent colors which just pop with the black. Cake was white chocolate with chocolate ganache filling.
