This birthday cake was made to coordinate with the party invitations which had the houndstooth pattern and the main design. We duplicated the pattern using a stencil and royal icing. The crown was also created to match the party favors. Electric green and touch of gold were the accent colors which just pop with the black. Cake was white chocolate with chocolate ganache filling.4/21/11
