Desiree

This birthday cake was made to coordinate with the party invitations which had the houndstooth pattern and the main design. We duplicated the pattern using a stencil and royal icing. The crown was also created to match the party favors. Electric green and touch of gold were the accent colors which just pop with the black. Cake was white chocolate with chocolate ganache filling.

Winnie-the-Cake

This was a surprise cake for a birthday gal who had a beloved dachshund for 20 years. Her daughters wanted to surprise her with a replica of the dog she once had. Cake was pink champagne with vanilla bean buttercream. Cake was covered with milk chocolate and highlighted with bronze luster dust.

Houston's Truck

This cake was for a gentleman's 90th birthday! He loves to go to flea markets for "stuff" which in turn was what we filled the back of the truck with (ie. old appliances, toilet). The entire truck was the cake which was "dirtied" with cocoa powder.

Panda Cupcakes

Pandas were the theme for this party. We coordinated the color scheme to match the party invitation.

Eliza & Ian

This cake was made for an engagement party to celebrate the upcoming wedding of Eliza and Ian! A large Tiffany-inspired ring box was chosen for the theme. A 100-karat solitaire ring sets off the look. : ) Cake was Kahlua red velvet with vanilla bean cream cheese filling.

Louis Vuitton Shopping Bag

This cake was created for a birthday girl who loves the "bling" of all fine things! Shopping bag was covered with milk chocolate, and the red shoe was made of white modeling chocolate. The "bling" was made of silver dragees and large pearl centers. Tissue for the bag was fondant pieces. Bag was brushed with bronze luster dust. The cake was white chocolate with strawberry buttercream filling.

Payton

This very personalized birthday cake was for a young lady that loves candy, snowboarding, baseball, her Scottie dog, and especially soccer. Everything is hand crafted and sculpted.

Elmo/Sesame Street

This Elmo/Sesame Street inspired cake was for a little boy who loves the furry red guy. Top cake was vanilla with raspberry filling and lemon cream cheese frosting, and bottom was vanilla with strawberry filling and vanilla bean cream cheese frosting.

Captain America

A comic hero inspired cake design for a birthday boy. A 2D or "flat design" was chosen for this cake -- all elements hand cut. Cake was vanilla with strawberry filling.

Pink Stars & Crown

Butterflies seem to be an occurring theme for young ladies and their birthday cakes. Butterflies created out of fondant with all other elements (crown, wand) created out of tinted white chocolate.
