Honey & Music

This birthday cake was created in honor of the birthday boy's hobbies, playing the accordion and bee keeping! A curious combination for a cake but I think we pulled it off!! The "hive" was dark chocolate cake with chocolate fudge buttercream filling, and the accordion was crispy treats covered with tinted white chocolate.

My name is Patty Pittman Asken, I am the designer, sculpter, and owner of sweet P sweets, inc. I attended the School of the Art Instutite of Chicago, and Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I have a passion for sculpture, which I now translate into the ever growing industry of cake design. I owe a lot to my mom and grandma Fagan for passing down the knowledge of cake baking, and designing with chocolate!!! I now live in Illinois with my ever so busy family of four boys and my husband, or should I say five boys!
