Lucky Leprechan

This cake was for a birthday party for a gentleman who always said he had a little leprechaun hidden away in his house so I definitely needed to put that leprechaun on the cake and make it resemble the birthday boy. Various names were added to the cake under which the birthday boy goes by. The cake was dark chocolate with milk chocolate buttercream filling.

My name is Patty Pittman Asken, I am the designer, sculpter, and owner of sweet P sweets, inc. I attended the School of the Art Instutite of Chicago, and Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I have a passion for sculpture, which I now translate into the ever growing industry of cake design. I owe a lot to my mom and grandma Fagan for passing down the knowledge of cake baking, and designing with chocolate!!! I now live in Illinois with my ever so busy family of four boys and my husband, or should I say five boys!
