MeVille

This was a lot of fun to create! This cake was for a church cast party for a play they performed titled "MeVille." The play was written by one of their pastors so they wanted to surprise him with a copy of the book which plays an important part of the play. They wanted the some of the important elements of the play to bust out of the book. I am very happy with the final product of this cake! All elements were either white or milk chocolate and the book was butter yellow cake vanilla bean buttercream filling.

Jacob's Barnyard

This cake was created with the party theme in mind and matched the invitations, plates, etc. The larger cake incorporated the various animal friends of "Mr. Cow" and the smaller sculpted cow was for the birthday boy. All elements were created out of white chocolate and the cow was covered with a thin layer of white chocolate over chocolate cake.

Buster the Bunny

This was my first entry in a chocolate sculpture competition. I was pleased at the outcome of "Buster" -- the theme was "My Favorite Holiday." It was a fun experience. I also entered the candy competition and my White Chocolate Pistachio Butter Toffee won first prize. It was a great confidence boost for my myself and my friend Rose who also won with her delicious Truffles.

"Now, That's One Big Fish!"

This cake was created for a surprise birthday party and the guest of honor had just gone deep sea fishing and caught a 50lb. Mai Mai so it had to be the theme for the cake. The fish's head and boat were both covered crispy treat, and the water was 1/2 marbled cake with chocolate buttercream filling and 1/2 white chocolate cake with strawberry filling.

Monkey Business

This cake was to coordinate with the baby shower invitation. I added a little blue blanky for the monkey! The cake was red velvet with cream cheese and the bottom was white with raspberry.
