The Rat Pack

This cake was ordered by my client for her husband's 50th birthday party. He is a great fan of the original "Rat Pack" -- Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, and Sammy Davis Jr. (no Peter Lawford in this rendition). I went with a retro feel for the design along with color scheme. Cake was red velvet with cream cheese filling. All design work was created out of tinted white chocolate.

Mathew's Communion

A very pretty communion cake was ordered by my client with a blue and white color scheme. This is one of the few cakes that I actually did use fondant or satin ice. Quilting had silver dragees along with fondant flowers, leaves, cross and tie. Cake was dark chocolate with cookies 'n cream filling.

Nicole's Cheeseburger!

One of my favorite things to create -- a hamburger or should I say "a double cheeseburger" cake! This cake was ordered by my client as a surprise for his wife's birthday. She is a true cheeseburger lover so naturally the cake had to be a burger . All buttercream cake with tinted white chocolate "melting cheese" and chocolate olive on top. Burgers were encrusted with crushed chocolate cookies to give texture and extra yum appeal. Cake was red velvet with cream cheese filling.
